Benefits

  • Our MasterCard credit card gives you the benefit of access to cash advances all over the world by means of automatic tellers on the Cirrus Network.
  • Immediate replacement of your credit card in the event of theft or loss in any place in the world.
  • As the main cardholder you can obtain additional cards with charge to your account so that the members of your family can enjoy the security and convenience offered by the HSBC MasterCard.
  • The monthly spending limit for each additional card will be subject to the total limit of the main cardholder's account. The amount available in the main cardholder's account will control the spending limit of each additional card between the 1st and 30th of each month.
  • Up to 75 years of age, a life insurance policy that covers the total of your outstanding balance
  • At no additional cost, you acquire unbeatable travel insurance whenever you purchase your ticket with one of our credit cards.

Requirements:

  • Individual income of $400 monthly in Panama and $300 in Colon and in the interior of the country.
  • Six months of job stability (Private Enterprise) and one year of job stability (Government).
  • A letter of employment or payslip that shows your income.
  • Your personal identification card and most recent entitlement slip from the Panama Social Security System.
  • Copy of one utility bill.
  • Two (2) signed payroll deduction authorization letters.
  • Two (2) personal letters of reference.
  • Fill in and sign the Credit Card Application Form.

Foreigners

  • Must have two (2) years of residence in Panama. Otherwise, collateral must be provided for the card.

Self-employed

  • Income of $1,000 for Panama Province and $800.00 for Colon and the interior.
  • The two (2) most recent income tax statements and tax payment receipts.

Collateral Accounts

  • Retention of funds in a savings or time deposit account for 120% of the desired credit line.
  • Fill in and sign the Credit Card Application Form.
